Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express Game
The game Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express shares the same setting and murder details of the novel. Additionally, much of the dialogue used in this Agatha Christie game comes directly from the 1934 novel. This distinguishes it as one of the most well-written games available, although the language may seem dated at times.
However, there are a few characters added in to make the game more interesting. Also, the player does not assume the role of Agatha Christie's detective Hercules Poirot. Instead the player’s character is named Antoinette Marceau and is tasked with relaying information to Poirot throughout the game while Poirot is hobbled in the dining car with a sprained ankle. This aspect is similar to the novel, but is somewhat tedious for a game.
