August 10, 2007, Newsletter Issue #7: Online Reading Games for Kids

Tip of the Week

Would your child rather do just about anything than pick up a book? If you're worried about your child's reading skills, look for online reading games for kids that will help improve vocabulary and understanding, while making reading more fun. You can find online reading games for every age and reading ability, and many of the games mix reading with sports or cooking – activities your children may already love.

Many of these games simply give a greater understanding of words, meanings, and sentences, so children can start small and move on to more complex reading games. If your children don't enjoy reading, try some of these games to create better readers.
